Curt Johnson, CPEA will be a presenter at the Texas/Louisiana EHS Seminar meeting in Galveston TX on June 4, 2014. The EHS Seminar is jointly developed and presented by The Texas Chemical Council (TCC) and Association of Chemical Industry of Texas (ACIT) in collaboration with the Louisiana Chemical Association (LCA) and the Louisiana Chemical Industry Alliance (LCIA) and features over 100 sessions produced by and for established safety professionals. As part of the Sharing Best Practices track, Curt will review and demonstrate a series of Apps and Web Sites Useful to EHS Managers. Barbara Jo Ruble, QEP, CPEA will be a guest presenter at the Maryland SERMA (State Employee Risk Management Administration) Conference on May 22. She will give a presentation and hands-on demonstration on Safety Apps for Tablets and Smart Phones.
Carol Robinson, CIH, CSP will be attending ASSE’s Safety 2014 Exposition. Safety 2014 will be held June 8-11, 2014 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The conference and exposition includes an Executive Summit, Key Issues Roundtables, Topic Track educational sessions covering a broad range of practice areas, industries and interest areas, and a series of pre and post-conference seminars during the week. During this years conference, Carol and Debby Shewitz of Shewitz Consulting, LLC will participate in the Safety Management Topic Track on Wednesday, June 11. Their presentation, entitled Auditing Skills will discuss auditor requirements from the perspective of the ISO Standards and the trilateral EHS Auditing Competency Framework.
