It’s not a new rule, but the challenges of OSHA injury and illness recordkeeping and reporting never end. Every day, safety and HR managers struggle to decide if injury and illness cases are recordable and maintain accurate records. EHS audits commonly find recordkeeping mistakes and data gaps. This webinar will review the OSHA recordkeeping requirements, review the most common mistakes, and look at your challenging case questions. We will also discuss how you can use past injury and illness data to help decrease the likelihood of future recordable injuries and illnesses
Our presenter will be Carol J. Robinson, CIH, CSP, Vice President of Specialty Technical Consultants. Carol has over 30 years experience in EHS management for a wide range of industries including biotech, chemical, high tech, personal care and petrochemical companies. She has performed hazard and exposure assessments, conducted compliance and management system audits, and supported clients in the identification and implementation of practical corrective and preventive actions. As head of corporate EHS programs at JDS Uniphase and Helene Curtis, Ms. Robinson developed corporate objectives, metrics, policies and strategic direction. She led injury reduction efforts that resulted in reduced costs. Her experience managing non-EHS groups including engineering, facilities, corporate security and TSCA compliance has exposed Ms. Robinson to a diverse range of business issues and backgrounds, enabling her to provide focused, understandable and actionable guidance and training.
