Specialty Technical Consultants, Inc. (STC) today announced the election of new company officers. STC Principal, Barbara Jo Ruble was elected President. Ms. Ruble has more than 25 years of experience helping corporations to develop, assess, and improve their EHS management systems and compliance programs. She is a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) and a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) for both ISO 14000/EMS and compliance auditing. Ms. Ruble replaces Randy Roig, PhD, President and co-founder of STC. Dr. Roig will continue with STC as a Principal.
STC Principal Carol J. Robinson, CIH, CSP was elected Vice President. Ms. Robinson first joined STC in 2002 and became an STC partner in 2008. Ms. Robinson’s elevation to the vice-presidency strengthens the company’s offerings in the field of Health and Safety. Joseph Cotier, CPEA, will continue as Secretary. He has been an STC partner since 2007 and also serves on the Board of Directors of The Auditing Roundtable. Melanie Powers-Schanbacher, CPEA will continue as the Chief Financial Officer. She has been with STC since 2004 and became a partner in 2007. In addition to her consulting practice, Melanie has overall responsibility for the EHS regulatory information guides that are authored by STC’s professionals and published by Specialty Technical Publishers of Vancouver, BC, Canada.
